Data ServicesThe Cooperative Institutional Research Project (CIRP) housed in the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) at UCLA is the longest-running and largest longitudinal study of the American higher education system with data on over 15 million students at 1,700+ institutions spanning the last 43 years. In addition to its annual reports and publications, CIRP offers participating institutions, non-participating institutions, and other researchers the ability to order Custom Reports and Data Files to meet their particular needs. Please click on one of the following surveys to order:
Custom Reports are delivered as a Microsoft Excel file with the exception of the PowerPoint Executive Summary Report. Custom Data Files are delivered as a comma-separated values file (.csv), flat file (.dat), or SPSS data file (.sav). A fee of $25 will be added to orders processed in a format not listed above. Custom Reports are available with aggregated data for an individual institution, comparison group, or peer group. In order to maintain institutional privacy, peer group reports contain aggregated data from a minimum of five institutions. Peer group reports are NOT available as a Longitudinal Report or Trends Report. For those who are interested in ordering reports based on HERI defined comparison groups, a list of the groups can be found here. Note: Data files more than 10 years old may be downloaded from the CIRP Data Archives. Researchers from nonparticipating institutions may order data files form 3 to 10 years old through our Data Access proposal process. |
