The CIRP Summer Workshop

This three day workshop (July 20-July 22, 2005) is designed to provide institutional researchers and others who work with CIRP, YFCY, and/or CSS data a comprehensive approach to analyzing college student data. The workshop is designed to provide a balance between formal instruction, group activity, and hands-on practice in using the computer to analyze data.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply Astin's Input-Environment-Outcome (IEO) model for organizing and conducting studies of student development and college impact. Special topics will include: calculating retention rates, assessing environmental impact, and disseminating CIRP/CSS/YFCY data on campus.

The official brochure describes the workshop in greater detail and can be used to register for this year's workshop.  Enrollment is limited, so early registration is recommended. If you have any questions or require any information, please contact Kit Mahoney at (310) 825-1925.
