ACE Brief on Student Stop Out Uses HERI Data

The American Council on Education (ACE) released the second brief in a series planned in partnership with the UCLA School of Education and Information Science (UCLA Ed&IS): Reasons Students Consider Leaving or Stopping Out. The brief uses data from our 2023 Diverse Learning Environments Survey (DLE) to include a series of questions the authors think administrators should ask when analyzing student stop-out trends.
