Summer Institutes Now Open for Registration

HERI will once again run three summer institutes in 2012, and all are now open for registration.

Our annual CIRP Summer Institute is a great way to extend your understanding of the conceptual framework of the CIRP surveys and augment your data analysis skills. For two and a half days we focus on how to get more out of your CIRP results with hands-on data analyses guided by our local experts. People who attend the CIRP Summer Institute are typically instiutional reseachers or scholars who are using the CIRP data for academic research.

The Diversity Research Institute has quickly become one of our more popular summer institutes, and fills up quickly! Individual or teams from institutions attend looking to learn the latest about diversity research and how what we learn from the research can be applied at the institutional level. HERI Director Sylvia Hurtado leads this two-day institute.

New last year was the Retention & Persistence Institute, which focusses on the latest in thinking about how we can help students to persist to graduation. New research at HERI on retention informs the discussion, as well as our new Expected Graduation Rate Calculator.

We look forward to seeing you this summer in Los Angeles!
